                                                                                   What Kind of Baptist Church is Northgate?

With so many varieties of Baptists, some of our guests may wonder, "What kind of Baptist are you?" While we are Baptist in our heritage, we are unapologetically Christian.  We are Baptists who think the Bible should be interpreted according to the teachings of Christ. This means we follow the teachings of the Bible...the whole Bible. Which means Baptist is our middle name not our first. 

We invite you to establish a meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ by accepting His grace and forgiveness, and we welcome you to become a member of Northgate upon the forgiveness of your sin, or upon the testimony of a prior faith experience at another church.

So, Northgate is a place for:

Worship- The primary reason we gather is to focus our attention on God, giving Him our worship and  receiving His blessing and inspiration.   

Learning- To us, studying the Bible is vital because it not only instructs us intellectPastor (Mark) & Mrs. (Rachel) Spurlingually, but also guides us spiritually. We believe it and accept it as God's Word to us.

Enrichment- To every person at every age level we offer a wealth of opportunities. 

Friendship- Nothing quite compares to the joy of Christian friendship. We make it a priority to build lasting bonds between the members of our church family.

Service-  Just as Jesus Christ came "not to be ministered unto, but to minister..." We accept our responsibility to reach out in service to others both within our church family and outside our fellowship.
